GUIDED MEDITATION &
IMMERSIVE MEDITATION
What is guided meditation?
Guided meditation is a type of meditation led by a meditation facilitator or meditation teacher. Whether in person or via video or audio recording, what makes guided meditation different is that the process of entering a meditative state is achieved with the help of another’s words or guidance. This form of meditation can be experienced in a group setting (e.g. at a meditation studio) or in a 1-on-1 session (e.g. with a coach, therapist, facilitator).
What is immersive meditation?
Immersive meditation is an outcome-oriented form of guided meditation. Kat applies this unique approach in her work with clients which integrates both guided meditation and unguided meditation into the same meditation experience because facilitating a transformative inner experience requires aspects of both types of meditation. Kat will take into consideration a specific idea or situation you are wanting to focus on (motivation, life decisions, self-confidence) and ask the question, with the goal of you receiving insight from your inner small voice and your own inner wisdom. Immersive meditation facilitates deep contemplation and healthy self-reflection, designed to enable clients to overcome specific challenges on their way to achieving their goals.
